Praslin is the third largest island of the Seychelles and with its maximum height of 340 meters, it is quite flat compared to the 960 meters of main island MahΓ© and the main reason why Praslin is in general a bit more dry and sunny than MahΓ©.
Praslin can be reached from MahΓ© using either by the 15 minute island-hopper prop planes served by Air Seychelles or the “Cat Cocos”, a high speed catamaran, taking only 1 hour for the 36 km voyage between MahΓ© and Praslin.
